I was a vicim of a Huntington Beach PD, way back- when a black officer (Badge No. 7) was ignorant of the new (Olympic) plate.. and pulled me over (on his motor-cycle) and informed me I was driving a stolen Vehicle.. a Pink auto. from Beverly hills no less!! He hastened to call several unmarked Detectives (?) whom upon finding this poorly educated ‘Officer (?) departed laughing.. as I sat (as ordered) in the dirt on the side of the road. When the Judge/Court heard my appeal.. (for excess speed!!!) I was basically dismissed. The following day this foolish officer,revved his motor-cycle at me as I was making the Left turn onto Beach fro Hwy #1. Leaning over staring at me ‘daring me to speak’ (showing his displeasure that the Judge agreed with my statement) I called the Desk ‘Sergeant’ and he simply told me.. ‘He simply got out of the wrong side of the bed’ It might be understood, why I have little faith in the conduct of police officers. I can see why they so enjoy the ‘Andy Griffin show’ they are looking at their own reflection. jwb About time Rogue cops were punished.
